STUDENTS AND INTERNSHIPS

Annually, we seek high-potential, full-time undergraduate and graduate students, and recent graduates. We’ll train you for a career as an intelligence analyst where you will use analytic skills, problem-solving techniques and state-of-the-art technology to solve our nation’s most complex challenges.
Premier College Intern Program
The Premier College Intern Program is a 12-week internship that typically takes place between your junior and senior year. You will attend a three-day regional symposium, where you will receive mentorship from senior leaders and work on special projects. Following a successful internship, you may receive a full-time position in the Palace Acquire Program.
You must:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be a full-time undergraduate student (junior) or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Have a GPA of 2.95 or above.
- Be able to obtain a security clearance.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
- Pass a rigorous background investigation.
How to apply:
- Applications are accepted August through November.
- You may attend a recruiting event or submit an application. Applicant packages must include a resume, cover letter and transcripts.
- We will follow up with candidates who have the desired education and career goals.
Palace Acquire Program
The Palace Acquire (PAQ) program is a formal three-year training and career development program with opportunities for employment across the country. Intelligence PAQs will attend a seven-month intelligence officer training at Goodfellow Air Force Base, support real-world missions and receive annual promotions. Upon successful program completion, PAQs are placed into permanent GG-12 intelligence analyst positions.
Potential benefits of the program include:
- Student loan repayment.
- 100 percent tuition assistance toward a graduate degree while in the program (reimbursement may not exceed $900 per semester hour or $600 per quarter hour. $35,000 fiscal year cap).
- Recruitment incentive for hard-to-fill locations.
You must:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Have graduated from an accredited college or university within the past two years with a bachelor's or master's degree.
- Have a GPA of 2.95 or above.
- Be able to obtain a security clearance.

How to apply:
- PAQ applications are accepted May through June for positions. Accepted candidates will onboard the following year in spring and summer.
